Utilizing in-house expertise, international trend forecasting tools, and direction from the firm’s certified Futurist, Mark Bryan, learn ways to best prepare through predicted design solutions that solve for client’s challenges post pandemic.
In this exclusive virtual presentation, the team will explore ways to create values for clients post pandemic and ways to best position your organization in response to behavioral predictions of key decision makers.
We will then move to a Futurist’s perspective, with Mark Bryan leading the conversation based upon the key factors and takeaways that will shift life as we know it today, leading to different outcomes for tomorrow. Exploring concepts like rewilding and localvists, Mark will explain the direction you will need to position your company to best be set up for success.
Post pandemic, the priority of wellness and the control of disease spread will remain a high priority globally. Nationally recognized Sustainability expert Johnna Keller will share what sustainability reimagined looks like, as principles of Sustainability are predicted to have an extreme increase in priority and implementation throughout industries. We’ll cover elements like air purification, wellness resources and sanitization, among some design components that will be at the precipice of priority for clients.
The presentation will conclude with thought leadership and idea starters as it relates to design solutions in
the built environment that respond to the evolution of life post pandemic.

Futurist, Senior Interior Designer
Award-winning Interior Designer, and Certified Futurist, Mark Bryan, is known for his most marked characteristic of an unbridled desire for continued learning and exploration. Mark leads M+A’s Research and Innovation team, finding evidence-based design solutions that will enhance the quality of spaces and enrich the lives of those who interact within.
Mark’s curiosity leads him to explore unconventional approaches, bringing him to new solutions for today’s challenges that benefit our projects, practice, and community. His hope is to energize clients and colleagues alike, to push past limits and break boundaries by communicating a vision through storytelling.
As the firm’s advocate for Wellness and Mental Health design based-solutions, Mark works to break the stigma of “taking a break means losing productivity,” by educating others on the psychological and physiological benefits of self-care.

Johnna S. Keller is a registered architect, and specializes in sustainable design and consulting. Johnna has led the green building efforts for a number of organizations and projects forging new paths in sustainability throughout the southeastern U.S., with projects ranging from schools and universities to major research labs and, most recently, Johnna achieved Living Building Challenge Petal Certification for the Light Lab at Mohawk Industries. M. Keller currently works for M+A Architects in Columbus, Ohio, and is working on what will be the first net zero energy building for the City of Columbus. Johnna is passionate about regenerative design, approaches the built environment as a foundation for well-being, and posits climate change as a social justice issue.
